Email MeBorn and raised within Secwepemcúlucw, I am a proud St’uxwtéws member. I obtained my Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Indigenous Studies, and finally my Juris Doctorate.
As a former Criminal Intelligence Analyst, I bring a strong working knowledge of law enforcement policies and procedures, providing valuable insight for justice-based initiatives. My background in analyzing evidence, identifying patterns, and uncovering critical details allows me to approach legal challenges with precision, strategy, and a deep understanding of the intersection between the justice system and Indigenous communities.
I am thoroughly experienced working sensitive and complex investigations while navigating high pressure environments with professionalism and discretion. This combination has allowed me to develop a highly analytical and strategic mindset that strengthens my ability to advocate effectively for my clients.
My education and career have always been rooted in the law and driven by a strong passion for justice, particularly within Indigenous communities. As a legal assistant, I worked closely with survivors throughout the Indian Residential School claims process, an experience that reinforced the importance of compassionate advocacy and meaningful legal support. I have also served as a Justice Worker for a local First Nation, further deepening my connection to community-based justice initiatives.
I value and am experienced in building strong relationships with clients, government bodies, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders, and I look forward to using my unique skill set to advance the legal objectives of First Nations throughout British Columbia.
