ABOUT ME

I help business owners, families, and First Nations move forward with clarity and confidence — whether you’re buying or selling a business, setting up your corporate structure, drafting a commercial contract, or shaping your community’s governance framework.

My business law practice focuses on share and asset transactions, shareholder agreements, joint venture, commercial contracts and leases, and commercial lending, — the kinds of legal work that help small and mid-sized businesses grow, protect themselves, and plan for the future. I also work closely with emerging and high-growth companies, helping founders and investors navigate complex legal decisions with practical insight and a long-term mindset.

I bring insight from my time at a national law firm working on complex transactions, and I apply that same level of care and strategic thinking in every matter, no matter the scale.

My legal work is also grounded in real-world experience. I’ve been deeply involved in my family’s mushroom farming and value-added food business. That hands-on involvement has shaped the way I practice law — with a practical mindset, a clear understanding of what entrepreneurs actually face, and a deep respect for hard work.

In addition to my corporate work, I support First Nations governments in advancing their self-determination goals. I draft and revise custom election codes, bylaws, and governance policies, always with the understanding that strong governance grows from community voice and cultural integrity.

Before becoming a lawyer, I trained as a chemical engineer and scientist, a background that continues to fuel my curiosity, problem-solving approach, and passion for technology and innovation.

Outside the office, I love spending time with my family outdoors — hiking, biking, camping, or simply enjoying the BC landscape.
